hAP_ax_S [E62iUGS-2axD5axT] SFP 2,5 GBit fiber

Hello everyone,

I do not have sufficient Wi-Fi coverage on 5 GHz on my upper floor.

I want to add an access point on the upper floor.
On the ground floor, there is a wAP_ax [wAPG-5HaxD2HaxD] that works satisfactorily.

I could easily hang this upstairs as well, but I have come across what appears to be a better alternative, the hAP_ax_S [E62iUGS-2axD5axT].
This has an SFP port that supports 2.5 Gbit. It is an SFP port and not an SFP+ port. I understand that there are SFP modules primarily for GPON internet, perhaps XGS-PON?! In any case, Internet Service Provider (ISP) module-like.

I want to use this to establish a 2.5 Gbit fiber connection indoors with the router in the basement, the [CCR2004-16G-2S+], which has an SFP+ port and is also compatible with SFP. I have been searching for a few days now to find out how to do this, which modules support it, etc., but I can find little to nothing. I do find information everywhere that if a module supports this, you have to set it to 2.5 Gbit yourself, and that this does not work with auto-negotiation.

I know that I can also use 1 Gbit, but my question is specific: does anyone know which SFP (and not SFP+) modules I can use to make this connection from the access point to the router? The length of the fiber optic cable is at most 20 meters.
I am aware that I can also do 2.5 Gbit with Ethernet, but my question is specifically to do it via SFP.

It is also just an interesting project to get working anyway.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Regards, Niels.

Edit:

Would something like >this< work?
It is an FS 2.5GBASE-SX SFP 850nm 300m DOM Duplex LC/UPC MMF Optische Transceivermodule.

Edit2:

Guess we are going to find out. Just ordered 2 of them and a LC/UPC to LC/UPS of 25 meters.
Keep you posted.

The CCR2004-16G-2S+ can’t do 2,5 GBit on SFP(+).
Now ordered a CRS310-8G+2S+IN who can do 2,5 GBit on SFP(+).
I connect the CCR2004 via a DAC to the CRS310-8G+2S+IN.

Update follows in a few weeks.

I'm using four of these in 4 hAP ax S used as cAP:
HORACO HC-2.5GE-SFP
ZoeRax SFP-2.5G-T

For the problem described here: hAP ax S low upload speed with 2.5G ONT
