Hap ax2 Wireless Bridge

Hi All,

Hope you are well.
I just started with the Mikrotik world and I would like to query some settings with the Hap Ax2.

I currently have a couple of control panels which I cannot run a cable and I bought the Ax2 to create a bridge.
I am currently using at my home a ap2 for extending my WLAN, but the configuration seems a bit different from the Router os6 to the os7

That said, here is the scenario:

Current wireless>Bridge to ax2>3 devices connected to the LAN with the current wireless DHCP pool.

Questions are:
Which mode should I use? I suspect bridge.
Where do I find where to select the modes? I see that on OS6, there is the setup repeater button and the mode list, but not in OS7, is it somewhere else?

I apologies in advance that these might be simple questions which would need a bit of digging. I´ve checked a couple youtube videos and I wasn´t able to find any.

Thank you in advance.

Be sure you’re use case is outside the “Lost Features” world:
https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/WifiWave2#WifiWave2-Lostfeatures

4 way address mode is lost with wifiwave2 so wireless bridging is not that simple anymore.

But… connecting ap2 to ap1 and putting EOIP link on top of it, might be a workaround.

I want to route (not bridge) from hAP ax3 station mode to AT&T gateway but wifi virtual interface never gets past “scanning” and I don’t know how to diagnose over the air packets.

Create your own thread and provide more context.

I did; it’s in benign neglect mode: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/hap-ax3-wifi-station-mode-help/168966/1
