This is my setup. Starlink ver 2 (rectangle) Dish. I have removed the Starlink router completely, using a poe injector and dc-dc converter to provide the 48V 3A to the dish and replaced it with a hap ax2. The ax2 and the dish are switched on/off separately. Connecting the ax2 as configured out of the box, I get a proper connection fast/normal internet. However, if I reboot or cycle the power to the router, the resulting new connection is unusable. Pages time out when trying to load etc. The only fix so far is to reset the router configuration. When I do that, I get a perfect connection again.
I imagine this is obvious for some of you. I need to be able to turn the router off and on (and the dish) one or more times per day without having to fiddle with the router every time. What is happening and what do I do to fix it?
