My ax3 appears to be bricked somehow. I bought it about a month ago.
I came home today to my internet not working due to an outage, however I also noticed my overall network was not working. Taking a look at my device, I noticed that only 3 out of 5 of my ethernet port lights were on (1, 3, 5), on the front the lights corresponding to ports 2 and 3 were on. I have already tried resetting it a multitude of times. The wifi on the device was working but after I had reset it, the light never came back on and I was unable to join the network. I tried posting on the mikrotik subreddit and users recommended that I try a NetInstall and I had no luck getting it to pop up in the NetInstall window. I am certain that my configuration for the device was correct as well as the process of holding the reset button down. I really am at a loss, we did not have a power outage today so what is going on? I’ve appended images to help illustrate what’s going on with the device.
Sorry if this is not where to post this, I am just rather frustrated.


Since, it was bought only a month ago, I’d contact the local dealer / distributor to see if they can do anything to fix or replace the device. Usually, the dealers / distributors are supportive in such cases. If they aren’t, do not hesitate to escalate the issue to mikrotik support. This forum is mostly for peer-to-peer support. Not many people may have seen such issues. Even those who had experienced such issues in their devices may not read all the posts in the forum.
One thing you can check before contacting your distributor is that power adapter outputs correct voltage.
