Hello, can someone help configure a wifi bridge on the hAP AX3 I wanted to use it as a signal booster the router with which the AX3 will connect is not miktotik thanks for your help
I’m guessing that what you are looking for is wireless repeater mode. With a clean config, from the wireless tab, there’s an option to set up a wireless repeater - you simply enter your SSID and password. You should be able to create a bridge with all the ports afterwards if you require Ethernet functionality.
In ax devices which uses wifiwave2 drivers you have AP, station mode and station-bridge which is available only trough CLI.
I don’t know where did you see repeater mode.
And you would need latest 7.12beta7, on both sides.
It’s only there station-bridge can be set. Only through CLI for now.
I’m sorry, I forgot that this feature is missing on new ax models (I don’t have any). Having to use 2 MT devices makes its use restrictive…
You can connect to other brand ap but then you need another bridge with own subnet.
Connection using same subnet, requires Tik to Tik, that has not changed from the past.
