Hello, I have hAP ax3

  1. I have 4TB hdd connected via usb and if i reboot device its run hdd all the time and then go to reboot and do it again and in winbox files is empty, to bypass this situation i need to unplug hdd and after router load plug it back and files dictionary appear fine (there is many files) - how to fix it, so now if elextricity lost and come back router will not start properly

  2. I have multiple wifi and wired clients on my router and i want to setup VPN for single client, for exampe i have TV box, Laptop, Wifi switches and i what to setup TV box all WAN trafic go through external VPN server (has all credential and certificates for extenal VPN) on router level

Timing or power(up) problem with the 4 TB hdd?
What happens after “System/Routerboard/ usb power-reset” ?

  1. router starts and is avaialable via host or winbox but it starts hdd, and hdd spins all the time (seems full speed) and after a while router go reboot again available and spins hdd - files section on winbox is empty
  • work around is disconnect 4TB hdd, wait till router starts and then plug hdd back - files gets awailable on winbox
  1. 4TB hdd has separate power source (WD sata 2)
