Finally I got the dual radio in hand ![]()
Is it just me? I cannot change country setting (and the frequencies I want) or frequency mode.
The only available frequency mode is ‘regulatory domain’ and country is only ‘united states3’.
I have 6.33.5 fw. 3.29, wireless-cm2 package; if I enable wireless-fp, the 5GHz radio disappears.
To comply with new FCC rules in the USA, this is required now. The device you have is for US market only. If you are not in the USA, you should exchange the device to the correct model or buy from a different distributor.
We are the distributor. Shit, I was not aware there were different unts.
Our logistics must have ordered the wrong one.
I suppose there is no workaround on making it a EU device?
Thanks Normis, see you on MUM
Best regards Marius/Avantis
Nope there is no workaround. The ordering system has the warning in red letters ![]()
What about lockpack? Should not that be for this purpose?
this is more permanent than the lockpack
I tried to apply the lock pack to a hAP lite AC tower, because I actually wanted to further lock it down by disabling protocols other than 802.11, it does not appear to be accepting the lockpack config as NStream is still an option. Is there any special procedure like a netinstall needed before applying the lockpack to the US models?
I have same issue with Mant’box 19s, but the sales man say the hardware are international device
how I can change?
thanks
If he claims that it is an international version, bring the device to him, and let him set it up correct for you. Het sold it, he got the money, he should solve it.
Done.
Hello.
I use mikrotik hap ac. I can’t change the country, code the default is available only Russia3.
Really began to block the channels and for Russia ?

removed stickers, really it is blocked on Russia. Originally it was international. What for?

Upgrade RouterOS and upgrade firmware/RouterBOOT (/system routerboard upgrade, then /system reboot).
Mikrotik only sell one international version and one US-locked version.
I just bought an RB912 card and found it the same symptom. With the fact that the firmware & ROS is always installed not newer than 6.41.2 (due to the huge number of innovations leading to the destruction of the network). It seems that revs for Russia has also hardlocked now. Have to order from Europe (if this virus does not get there).

Netinstall solved the problem.
