hAP lite / RB941-2nD-TC and Powerline

RouterOS lists a “pwr-line1” interface on this device.

Is that a joke by the programmers (simply referring to the micro USB connector) or is there any chance to make use of Powerline Communication somehow?

I like the idea to have an PLC uplink for a guest WLAN in my backyard.

Seems unlikely that PLC data will travel through the wall wart, but: what is the meaning of it?

I think it’s undocumented, as well as the “mode” button on top of the case, or not?

Regards

Olaf

Is that a joke by you?

You need that special USB pwr-line PL6400 power adaptor.
Can be used with hAP Lite, mAP, mAP Lite, hAP mini … if you can stil find one.

PWR-LINE EU has been replaced with PWR-line PRO, which is also already discontinued !
