hAP Lite - will it work scenario

Hi guys

noob here and really don’t even know what terms / features to search for.

I have a hAP Lite model ID : RB941-2nD ( still in the box )

I would like to ask if this is possible :

Existing Home LAN setup ( LAN cables ) :

2 parents PCs to Hub A – to LTE router A
2 kids PCs to Hub B – to LTE router B
4 mobile phones connect thru WiFi to the LTE routers.

At the moment, the kids hub is connected to an LTE router ( router A ) that has unlimited uncapped internet, but only for off-peak hours.

The parents hub is connected to an LTE router ( router B ) that has capped access, 24/7

Is it possible to :

  1. connect both LTE routers to the hAP Lite and specify which hours to use which router ?

  2. maintain completely seperate networks for kids / adults so there is no risk of damage to the work on the adult PCs ?

  3. print to a common network printer from either kids or adults network PCs ?

yes, it’s possible.
Part 1 (two LTE WANs) : search for multi-wan on forum and you will find multiple people doing Subnet A to WAN A , Subnet B to WAN B. They also often use failover, you might not want that.
Part 2 (separate parent and kid network) is a firewall thing. Search for guest network separation or something like this. The printer can either sit in one of these internal subnet with a firewall rule opening traffic just to this printer, or you can make a DMZ network for the printer.

WIFI - just make two SSID’s that terminate in either parent or kid bridge.
