I need to set up the home network and have found an hAP device and some cables in the roof. So together with my fibre installation and 2 other wifi AP’s I wanted to configure and use the hAP as it seems a far better device than the tenda units that I have set up using wifi. I am able to now set up these devices wired and then can create wifi areas from each AP.
I just need some advice and input on how best to do this. I have included a diagram of how I think it will work but was not sure if this is the best solution to expand the network.
This diagram is all wired, no? How come the Hook-Spot is in “universal repeater mode” ? Because “universal repeater mode” is normally wireless to wireless.
hAP Lite is to be setup as a LAN bridge , and all ethernet’s and WLAN as ports to that bridge. (ether1 by default is a WAN link)
