Is it possible to have a HAproxy or somethings else for HTTP load-balance on Mikrotik?

Just wondering if there is any view to provide haproxy (or similar SSL-overlay, rewrite, HTTP routing functions) on RouterOS? This would be a great combination!

Hi,

we own a bunch of CCRs and send RouterBoards to most of our customers. I would love to see haproxy functionality or even haproxy itself added to RouterOS and I would imagine it would not only allow us to simplify our setup but also for other companies that do provide high available services.

HAproxy would be awesome! I’ve used it on an old “patched” v5.26 RouterOS on x86 and it worked for years without a problem.

But I highly doubt MikroTik will ever add this to RouterOS.

Nowadays they tend to add features using proprietary code and I don’t think they will write a load balancer just for RouterOS and some niche use cases it may cover :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d love to be proven wrong though :smiley:
