Hardware offloaded vlan traffic counters

Is it possible to see traffic counters correctly for offloaded vlan traffic? All our counters on vlans have gone virtually to zero. Perhaps this is not possible due to the nature of offloading? Or maybe a future feature? Would be very nice to be able to see counters for this traffic.

Thanks for any information!

If current switch chips don’t have the feature there is no software fix.

The Marvell PRESTERA 98DX Family data sheet states the following. “The Marvell Prestera 98DX83xx family includes extensive traffic
counters across all its processing and forwarding/filtering engines.” I am curious if I have a misconfiguration or if perhaps Mikrotik have not yet implemented visibility for these counters.

@boydsoftprez Congratulations; I call your research a significant accomplishment. IMO you have the right question but I have no answer.
This is a user forum and some user may know. MikroTik staff watch the forum, participate on occasion but make no commitment to do so.
Getting a definitive answer from MikroTik requires opening a support case with sufficient description so they can replicate the issue.
Including supout.rif file generally helps and saves everyone time: https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Supout.rif
