I currently have a 100Mbps/15Mbps for home. I’ve been looking between the RB2011il-IN and the RB850GX2 to use.
My current router/firewall has more routing performance, but is also running on a quad xeon cpu system and uses a lot of electricity and generates heat.
I do have some experience with winbox/mikrotik as I currently own an RB750 which I use as part of a lab for network testing/cert learning.
Can either of those with QoS rules in place, some mild firewall and NAT rules be able to handle a 100/15 with about 20-25 IP-able devices?
I may at some point also up speed to 150/25 but that might not happen for awhile, or as much as 200/30.
