I had a RB750GL which did fine for me until TWC bumped my 50mbit/5mbit → 300mbit/20mbit. I’m looking for realistic recommendations for a router capable of 300mbit+ NAT, as the RB falls flat around 200mbit from what I’ve been able to get out of it (unless I’m doing something wrong).
Try fasttrack first. If you don’t need queues, your device will be sufficient further.
fast track is a valid consideration but if you cant use fast track (or device doesnt support it) than you could go for one with a faster/better MIPS or you can move to PPC or ARM based routerboards,
