I would say a more powerful switch chip, I do know broadcom does has a 24 port switch chip, it may be worthwhile to have a single chipset model line that has the same support characteristics. Could have a few ports separate from the switch chip as the uplinks.

493G would be nice as a similar product line as the 850G, but using mpcie. But this would be along the lines of reducing the model lines too. It would be nice to use a 2x4 RJ45 pcb block, instead of the 1x8 currently used.
Things I would love to see as additions, as modules (mpcie or other)
- (x)DSL adapters
- DOCSIS adapters
- 802.11ac, 802.11ad
- GPS, (location and time source for ntp)
- Cellular Adapter
- WiMAX Adapter
- FXO/FXS cards (for VOIP)
