Having issues connecting new Base Boxes

Hello all
I recently purchased a pair of the new Base Box 6s and a set of antennas to go with them. Getting them setup so that I can access them isn’t too hard, but I am having issues connecting them together over wireless.

Currently they only way I have been able to connect them is through a specific range of 5 Ghz frequencies between 5745 and 5825, with channel width set as 20/40 Mhz XX. Does anyone know why this is? I’ve read about a couple Licenses that Mikrotik provides for their equipment, but I haven’t found clear documentation on what I need to do. Do I need to buy a license level that will unlock all the 5 Ghz and 6 Ghz frequencies and allow the radio to connect. (I live in the US and am aware of the FCC regulations and licenses that need to be acquired for legal operation in certain frequency bands)

My main goal for these units is to operate them in the 6 Ghz spectrum, but I can find no documentation on how to accomplish this.

If anyone can help point me in the right directions on this, I would be most grateful!! My radios are on the current stable firmware version 6.46.1 and are saying they are License NLevel 4. If you need any more information to help me, please let me know.

Thank you
Cole

In ROS when country is set for wireless interface, it allows use of license-free frequencies and license-free EIRP (Tx power) according to local regulations. If you know better, you can override these limits by setting country to “no_country_set” … or find out correct country settings for your use case, list of country settings is available by running command /interface wireless info country-list and country limits are listed using command /interface wireless info country-info

ROS license level doesn’t matter in this context …
