I’ve bought Seagate 3TB desktop drive that works fine if attached to linux or windows computer. I can format it both GPT and MBR style. I’ve tried 2 “external usb boxes”, some noname Agestar and Seagate Expansion Desktop Drive (model SRD00F2). In all variants of connection I can format and use it’s full-size.
When I connect it to Mikrotik RB-951G via Seagate box, I see it as 740Mb disk. When I connect via Agestar - it’s 0b disk.
So - list of questions:
- What external USB HDD boxes can be used with Mikrotik?
- What HD drives can be used with Mikrotik? Can I use 2, 3, 4TB size drives?
- Any other restrictions I don’t know about or chances for it to work with my current hardware?
