Help about authenticating users Via Microtik

Hi any one help me I’m trying to configure a mikrotik wired its connected to a net gear wireless my challenge is to configure the radius
server so that It can authenticate users to the internet via net gear wireless the point behind this was to be able to create and print vouchers according to the payments received. Your response will be highly appreciated.

why don’t you use MikroTik Hotspot solutions with usermanager ?

Well I loged in as user manager I created an acount just for testing but It would’nt work do I have to buy a wireless Mikrotic Routerboard?

no!! you don’t need wifi enable MikroTik to use usermanager, search google there are lots of video tutorial and sample configuration on usermanager.

my query is my Mikrotik has no wireless feature however I bought a netgear wireless so that my clients who will be using the wifi(hotspot)of which they will get authenticated via Mikrotik LB2011L-IN MODEL if it can be done please let me know or

can it be done?
Or I must buy a a Mikrotic buildin wireless

If I may add one more clarity about my network topology is i have a cisco router whis is going to the Enternet now my Mikrotik is connected to cisco router then my wireless connected to mickrotic
long story shorty the mikrotic will be the management device?

Ok, got your point. connect your wireless device LAN port to Mikrotik router’s ether port, on which you have configure hotspot.

if you connect your wireless device WAN port with MikroTik then it will not work.
