Help Bandwidth drop between wireless link

Hi All,

I got a problem and i don’t seem to figure out a way around it.

I have two radios (each with RB with 4.9 Wireless card) connected point to point. I’ve set the link as a bridge via EOIP and i have cisco routers at both ends. A bandwidth test between the radio link gives a throughput of about 12Mbps. however, the bandwith between the ether interfaces( where my routers are connected) sometimes get clip at just 2Mbps. I have to restart both radios several times before am able to pass traffic above 8M.
Any ideas what might be wrong…

Help us help you by giving some more detail…

What type of bandwidth test were you running? Signal levels? CCQ?

And an idea on why you used eoip if it’s just a bridge…

i did run a tcp bandwidth test from winbox from one radio too the other radio interface. the signal strenght is between -45 to - 55dB…
Am actually running on the 4920MHz licensed feqency band..

the link was to get connectivity to my ISP’s premises. so i just needed a bridge to the premise and did use an eoip tunnel fro that.

hope this helps
