I have successfully launched two rb750’s with simple pcq bandwidth limiting to 512k. I now bought a hex and it is apparently a little different. I have tried like hell using winbox and webfig to get this thing to work…I suppose I have something simple wrong. Please help. I am trying to simply provide 512k to each user. On the 750’s that is a matter of simply setting up a download and upload pcq type. And then a simple queue that point to those types. Here is what I have:
Disable the fasttrack rule on your firewall.
Fasttrack bypasses queues and other stuff, that’s why your queue doesn’t work.
Ok, that didn’t do it. It must be that and something else.
Ok, I take that back you are a genious. I spent probably 14 hours trying to figure this out…the reason it didn’t work the first time is I had the Lan is the DST in the camper queue which was just a stab to get it to work in previous attempt. I took that out, disabled fast track and GTG.
