I did not find any bug here, the board actually doesn’t hang, the problem was because when you set for example:
ether 1 (mac 00:0C:42:53:14:08) masterport=ether2 (mac 00:0C:42:53:14:09)
while connected to ether1, connection switches from ether1 mac to ether2 mac, and you should simply reconnect board with master port mac.
You should not experience anything similar while connected, for example, ether 3-ether5
