I have enabled the ftp service but ftp is denied and I am not able to ftp into the routerOS at all to upgrade it. How am I suppose to upgrade this? Even tried sticking the files in 2.8.26 routeros to transfer files but the files are not recognised so that I can upgrade the beta.
check your firewall rules to make sure you are allowing the ftp service.
Also make sure that you are using the proper transfer method. Passive ftp.

Yeah did that.. I tried something else for a test and it worked. I changed the port to a non-standard ftp port. Seems for some reason in that beta it didn’t want to let me in on port 21. On the upgraded version it’s working fine on port 21.
