Hello,
I have purchased a mikrotik device for the first time and need assistance configuring it for my environment.
In my enviorment I have the following networks:
Vlan 30: Private Wireless – 10.255.30.0/24
Vlan 40: Guest Wireless – 10.255.40.0/24
Vlan 199: MGMT – 10.255.199.0/24
I have 5 Network Devices in my environment :
Firewall - 10.255.199.7
Cisco Switch - 10.255.199.1 ; 10.255.30.1 ; 10.255.35.1
MikroTik - 10.255.99.2
Two Access Points which use vLan 199 as their MGMT vLan and get a DHCP address from the cisco switch.
The cisco switch will connect to the MikroTik via the SFP-port 1. vLan 199 should be the native (untagged port) while vLans 30 and 40 should also be carried and trunked.
I would like to have port 2 as an access port for vLan 199 to connect to the MikroTik device.
The two Access Points should connect to the MikroTik on ports 11 and 12. These ports should Use 199 as the native trunk vLan and These Ports should also carry vLan 30 and vLan 40.
Can someone please help me with the terminal commands to configure this? Every time I think I have it I end up getting locked out of the device and need to start over.
I have the device in bridge mode. I tried to set 10.255.100.1 as the bridge Ip but that means the devices default gateway is on that network instead and I need the cisco switch (10.255.99.1) to be the default gateway for my mikrotik device
