help for sxt lte VPN from android cliet

hi,
i’m trying to setup a vpn on a sxt lte mikrotik. I use the built in vpn setup on webconfig.
whe i try to connect by windows with pptp it works but if i try with android is non possibile.
Andorid ask for lpt2 ip sec or openvpn. Are there any solution or setup to apply for connect from android to the vpn

best regards and thaks in advance

Yes the wiki has extensive documentation on the topic. Using L2TP/IPSEC for remote access or “road warrior” as the wiki calls it is nice because all major OS versions support it built-in right now. Technically I prefer IKEv2 but Android doesn’t have native support for it yet. All other platforms do.

Hi,

I found this wiki

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:IP/IPsec#Road_Warrior_setup_with_Mode_Conf

But is generic router. Can I apply at same way to sxt lte with builtin modem because I do not found specifically for that model on wiki

Hi, I tried but I am not able to setup correctly.
Maybe I do not understand what I have to do.
My scenario is a network that by lte builtin modem is connected to internet and on webconfig page I can see ip but it can change when reconnect. Ip is 100.x.x.x and is NAt so I can not access by portforwaring or ddns.

I have the sxt routerboard lan as default Io as 192.168.88.x and a subnet with 192.168.1.x
And I would like to access to a hub server with 192.168.1.200 ip from. Android outside VPN client.

Can someone help me to setup VPN with l2tp IPsec or ikev2?

Best regards and thanks in advance

for try i setup pptp vpn . but i did something wrong

i can access inside my lan with VPN and connect to ip inside my lan but i can not browser on internet

i can not a access to VPN from remote

i did not able to understand problem :frowning:

Is your PPTP VPN using a different IP range as your local network?

If it is then you need to add a rule in NAT to translate that IP range to your public IP address for Internet access.
