4.0Beta2
Don’t really want to try an upgrade yet.
We monitor multiple networks that are not connected to ours.
Remote Routers accept inbound port numbers (88xx) and forward to port 80 at each device IP..
Devices Inside our lan is affected as well as remote networks.
Have power cycled Dude server (connected to our lan).
Have put Dude server directly onto public static IP
Nothing works.
This setup has worked fine for quire some time. Upgraded once from 3.5 due to same problem.
thanks
I Had probe interval set to 30 seconds; acting on hundreds of devices. Possible flooding problem? Anyway, I disabled 30 network maps and saw things slowly come back online. I set probe interval to 5 minutes at system level and re-enabled maps and will set higher priority devices individually to a lower interval.
Is it possible to overload Dude with too many devices?
OK
Config above was not stable
Did a device count (approximate).
I show a total 0f 1, 960 devices on approx 100 maps.
Some devices are static showing ISP info.
If I’m monitoring 80% of that total, the number is 1,568.
I’ve disabled polling on all wireless access points and things seem to have stabilized so far.
There does seem to be limit on number of devices Dude can monitor.
