Howdy,
I for some idiotic reason decided to disable one of my ports which ended up locking me out of my router. I made a back up of my config file (very long and complicated configuration of course) on the router so I figured if I did a factory reset there would be a slight possibility that it would be left on there. Luckily it was, I tried to restore it and bam here I am now crying my eyes out. I’ve tried to factory reset the router several times and cannot seem to pick up an ip address. I’ve tried to connect using the “local-link” option in ubuntu but get stuck with a 169 address.
Is there anyway Is it all possible get back into this router? If so, how? I’m very confused on how to use netinstall. I’ve downloaded it but have no idea how to connect to my router. I really cherished this router for the month that I’ve had it. Unfortunately, I"m in the middle of Africa and probably wont’ be able to get a hold of one of these guys for years. Please help! anyone!
