Hi im a new member on this forum i heard of Mikrotik by coincidence and im now interested in getting a one im still confused to choose between 3 products The ALFA Tube 2H, MIKroTik GROOVE 52hpn and Ubiquiti BM2HP so please help me choose im looking for high gain and high Tx and Rx ! + i have another question does MikroTik provides a scan for Wifi AP’s i looked on youtube but no success i want just search for networks choose one enter the pass and connect Simply!
RouterOS is a very powerful routing platform. It does have an option to scan for a wireless network and select the one you want to connect to.
There are a lot more options and flexibility with RouterOS, but if you are looking for a simple product to click 2 buttons on a web page and connect to a wireless access point, the Ubiquiti gear is probably better for your use case.
