Hi.
Can anyone help me with the below configuration
RB951G < connect to > RB951G
i need to do port forward to my linux server 192.168.1.49, problem the DSL router not advance router to do port forward to different network
so i think i need to do it through VLAN which i give my server same submit (192.168.100.x) of my DSL router to talk each other
Kindly help me on that
i have try many ways but doesn’t work with me , not like cisco switchs make it as trunk ports

I’m not sure exactly what your trying to actually do?.. give some more details? I don’t see how a VLAN fixes anything.

i want to use my server as web,ftp for public’s.
based on that i have to do port forward to the server
issue is the DSL router cannot do port forward to 192.168.1.x network should be on 192.168.100.x network so my server should be on 192.168.100.x and to have that i need to do it through vlan
i think you need to configure dsl modem in bridge mode.

Bridge mode not support it from my ISP
should be PPPOA + authentication (user/password)

So are you doing double NAT? If so you want to port forward to your MikroTik and then from your MikroTik to your server. You don’t need VLANs at all.
