I am using ros 4.10. I have created a hotspot and using ubnt radios. I have added users in the hotspot. My main problem is latency. it goes to more that 4000ms. really horrible. My wireless link is perfect. i only see latency when there is a data transfer in network. I am trying to reach 10m upload and download using apache server on my local desktop. which i always failed to get more than 4m when there is no traffic from other customers. I am fedup with this situation. while other say they do get latency of only around 10ms to the gateway server.
Is this caused because of hotspot. Should I go with Simple queues - by adding manually. Please any one rely. I will give more information on setup configuration like ips etc if I am doing anything wrong.
Can you start by explaining your network? ADD: How the interfaces connect on the router wan interface network is a good start.
And when you say there is only latency when there is traffic on the network, do you mean the wired localnet (router wan interface) or the wireless localnet (router hotspot interface)?
I would like to see “/interface wireless print” and “/interface wireless registration-table print”.
Thanks a lot for reply. I am having latency over wireless network and only when the data is traveling. I am using three ubiquiti bullet m and 120 degree sectors for access points. These three are connected to a swithch and then to eth1 . Not using any routerboard with radio cards till now. I have installed a 411ah with xr2 for an ap today. I have created some rules in queue trees and firewall mangle. I have disabled them. Since they are not helping. I thought to display full system conf backup. But, if you are interested, i would like you to login into my server and see it cause its better.
