Hi there! I am not a proffesional it guy, and i made an oopsie. I think my isp is using a routerboard made by mikrotik, they connect our town via dishes. Its important to know, because they came to fix the disconnect problem i had and turns out i was connected to a tower with dish pointin only halfway to me. So they installed winbox. Last night my internet disconected, and genius me went into winbox and disabled a connection. My winbox quit, and everytime i try to connect it says "could not connect to 00:0c:42:76:b0:4d (port 20561) - timed out! I have no idea what i did, the connection below the one i disconected said something like ppoe when i disconected this one i was able to connect again. Please help. Cellphone internet hurts fingers and makes spelling mistakes!
Maybe try to change MAC-address at Connect To filed to IP address? However Winbox is only tool to configure the router, it does not make any magic at the router.
Perhaps the good idea would be to speak with ISP and clarify what is going on.
