Help me setup bonding as active backup

Hello,
I have AP on hill with no electricity connection avaiable. I have a few solar panels, batteries… and 2 links.

RB800 - wlan3 (cm9)  ~~~ (cm9) wlan3 - RB433AH
      - ether3 (m10) ~~~ (m10) ether3-

I need to save some electricity so at night I want to switch ubnt off.

I tried to setup a bonding as slaves ether3 and wlan3 on both sides, set ether3 primary, mode active backup, link monitoring arp, arp ip target I set bonding address of opposite side.
Data are flowing through ether3, wlan3 is connected.

When i try to disable ether 3 at 1. point it just stops working… what am I doing wrong? It should automatically go through wlan right?

Ok… I tried to use broadcast… working well. :mrgreen: 100Wh per day saved :mrgreen:
