I need help to migrate BGP config from a MKT RB2011 ROs v6.43.7 to MKT RB4011 ROs v7.11.
The menus are diferent, with diferent tabs, and organizations.
The MKT has default config, only has the BGP config.
Please, I will greatly appreciate any kind of help. I could publish the export if necessary.
Defenitely would like to see the config. Sure it is not compromised? Your RotuerOS version is…well…updated…a lot.

I’ve been using BGP on a HA device with RouterOS 7 for months and it hasn’t given me any problems so far.
Yes, I know! It’s toooo old, rigth!
It’s for that reason that i want to update it!
And I don’t Know how to compatibily the config to v7.

I would start from ugrading to latest 6.xx version then to 7.x.
You should read changelogs to check what had been changed for BGP in 6.xx line since 6.43 up to 6.49
The problem with that is that it is a mkt in production, and if problems or incompatibilities arise when updating, it becomes more difficult to downgrade.
That’s why a new mkt has been bought, to have the most up-to-date
Clone configuration to the new, upgrade it standalone … check what you can check then with 6.49 … cross your fingers … substitute the old one with the new one … watch what is going on … if something would be broken put the old one back … recheck … repeat the procedure
I have read the documentation, and there have been many changes to BGP, so updating will make the system stop working, it will not make the necessary compatibility when going from v6 to v7.
Being an MKT in production, I can’t be testing much.
I’m new with BGP (I did not config the MKT in prod), for that reason I ask for help.
