Hello,
Clients router (RB2011) has been working 100% Beautifully for longest time. I provide them with HOSTED PBX, suddenly this week outbound attempts to port 5060 for phones registration fails. Phones connect and disconnect. Seems connection is terminated. No changes, ever…
I reboot ISP modem and issue resolves for awhile. internet provider came out and swapped the modem and told me all firewall was disabled and 100% pass-through (as normal).
Spent hours troubleshooting. Migrated phones to another hosted pbx instance in another cloud location (different IP). that fixed for short period.
Now, I bring on-site PBX Server, cut over the phones to the on premise server. Works 100% Beautifully for ~20 minutes. Then I notice the SIP trunk to provider fails, and becomes unreachable and registration fails. So no more inbound calls…
This a MIkroTik firwall issue or bug? Running ROS latest stable. Prior was 6.43.3? If I recall.. but was working 100% normal up until Tuesday. They’ve been a client for 3+ years on my various hosted phone platforms. No other customer effected.
I’m almost at a point to have ISP issue a new static IP.
