Help Needed in My Mikrotik 2.9.27

GUys .. I’m newbei ..

and I’m doing a project which i have done 50%

1 - I had configured Mikrotik as Hotspot portal , with two network cards.. one is facing my internal network .. and the other is connected to an access point .
Now its working fine …

My Questions is as following : ..

1- How to make the sessions unlimited for the user .
2 - I have to kind of the hotspot users .. one is guests .. which i want them to be restricted from accessing of network resources .. but they can use internet freely ..
Second is employees in meeting rooms .. who will connect .. and i want them to be having access to our internal subnet so they can have the services ..

I gues this can be achieved as following ..

there will be list of hostname or Mac address which depending on it the Mikrotik server will release the IP either in our internal subnet .. or another private subnet ..

Second thing .. I have Active Directory .. how i can let the users authenticate with the same username and password .


I know its a bulk of questions but hope you guys can help …

1.for make the sessions unlimited for the user you must set time for session-timeout Property.(Default: 0s)
2.for guests user’s my solution is : create a pool for this user’s and assigne ip address from this pool for guests user’s and then in ip firewall filter rule create rool to drop access from guests pool to your network resources.
3.for reach to Active Directory database from Mikrotik you must used from radius server option’s.before config radius you must enable use radiuse in ppp\secrets.

2.9.27? Really? That is too old.

That software needs to be upgraded. All upgrades are free from mikrotik if you have a legitimate license, and there are new features/drivers there that you need!
