Help needed Netinstall problem

Hello everyone, I’ve tried to find a solution for a problem with the netinstall software.

I believe that I’ve done everything right but it still can’t see the routerboard in the devices window.
RB is 411, firewall disabled, antivirus disabled, serial connection up and running. Everything except netinstall is ok.

Here is a screenshot with specific situation.

I’ve already tried to find solution online but nothing so far.

What do you have setup when you click on the netbooting button? Is that an IP within the subnet that is your LAN range of your Ethernet port plugged into the router?

It is in the same subnet. it’s some /24 address but still no netinstall response…

Try the below steps…

  1. net booting is checked
  2. Firewall/any antivirus firewall is off on PC
  3. Bootloader is very Old, try old net install version 4.3 http://204.62.56.64/mikrotik/4.3/netinstall-4.3.zip
