>>> [HELP] OSPF + Load Balancing + Fail Over....how ?

Hallo,

I am newbie for Mikrotik RouterOS. Please see my topology in attachment.

All of my network are in the same subnet 192.168.1.1/24.
And internet backbone at tower 1 & tower 2 are from different ISP.

Does mikrotik can do case as follow:

  • If tower 1 is OFF, then tower 2 & 3 will still connected to internet from tower 2.

  • If tower 2 is OFF, then tower 1 will still connected to internet from tower 1 it self.

  • If tower 1, 2, 3 are ON , then internet from tower 1 & 2 will do Load Balancing. (example: Internet at tower 1 is 1Mbps & in tower 2 is 1Mbps, so all will be 2Mbps.

    In my topolgy, I had setup ethernet (LAN) in mikrotik 1 & 2 are 192.168.1.1. So if one of my ISP got error/off, then my clients still can use the internet. The gateway for all of my clients are 192.168.1.1. Can RouterOS do this job ?

Thanks all.

Sure .. why not ?
By using the load-balancing, option check gateway, it should be able to give you the solution you need.
