Help Please

I have a usermanager and is working fine, but I want to know how to configure credit to allow users to login base on the specific time like say every day from 9pm to 9am or 9am to 9pm daily.
Please help me

you want to set a time when users can use internet without login? or you want to deny login for all users at specific times?

I want to deny login for some users (not all users) at specific times?

are these users authenticated in some way (hotspot, pppoe or something like that)? if not, then only firewall rules will help. firewall rules have time setting, so you can make a firewall rule that rejects a certain IP address only in certain times. see :

the users are authenticated through Hotspot

ok, in this case you do not have the ability to do this right now. we are making this feature for future versions of the user manager.

You can create the firewall rule suggested by normis to deny access during the required time range and apply it to the mac address of the user. Place the rule in chain=pre-hs-input. This works for me.

Please can you give me the details on how to do it? and cant i use their username instead of mac address. Remember i am using hotspot and usermanager.

Thanks I have done it so dont bother with the configs, but i want to use their username in hotspot or usermanager not their MAC address

yusabdu,
Then you have to wait for future revisions to do that.

Skillful,

Thank you for the quick reply I will wait, but is it going to be in v3.0 or v4.0?

Thanks
