Trying to log into unit using 192.168.88.1 but before I get a chance to log into unit or select method of connection the screen goes blank and just says loading with a moving bar alongside it and that is all it does. OS6.1… Any help would be greatly appreciated…
Disable the firewall on your computer first and try again with mac-adress
I encountered this myself on earlier 6.x versions.
I presume you’re using firefox?
Give it a try with Chrome or Safari, that helped me in these cases.
And of course, as plisken silently stated, Winbox is the best choice.

Hi i just created a hotspot on the bridge interface of the mikrotik router with the default dhcp pool. this does not let me to access webfig. how do i create a different ip pool for hotspot and also assign a different lan ip for the router to access webfig.
anyone there to help??

You can use a fallback IP-address
Make a bridge and give this bridge a IP-address example 10.0.0.1/32
I think you can now with that IP-address connect to webfig.
Let me know if this works.
So you mean i can assign a static ip in my bridge interface while still using my default dhcp-pool (the range that i am using along with hotspot) which can be on different subnets??
