respected sir.. I am AN END USER AND I AM using mikrotik as hotspot to which i have to enter username and password to create session…but it is disconnecting frequently without my intervention…so I asked my ISP to provide me a static ISP or walled garden or MAC AUTHENTICATION so i will not have logoff problems AND WILL DIRECTLY LOGIN WITHOUT ENTERING USERNAME AND PASSWORD…more over if a user requests static IP even though if there are no problemS,I think it is necessary for my isp to provide to users what they want…please help me…can i get static IP.. please correct me if i am wrong.. he is also saying he dont know walled garden or MAC AUTHENTICATION(I searched google and found this)
If he dont provide me static IP upon user request..what I need to do to Get A STATIC IP FROM HIM??
