I am really struggling with WiFi speed upstairs where I have a hap AC 2.
Initially I thought it might be the connection to the box so I really wired Ethernet to the hap AC 2.
Downstairs I have virgin media 350mbps download. And over the Ethernet to hap ac2 Ethernet I get about 290-300mbps.
But wireless, even when standing right next to the hap AC too is a measly 40-50mbps.
I have tried all sorts, resetting the router to no default configuration, putting all interfaces in a simple bridge.
This is nothing complicated, I want the hap AC 2 to be an access point and switch.
I have tried all different channels and frequencies and have even locked them to 2.4ghz n and 5ghz n/AC.
I have tried with several wireless devices, such as laptops and the latest Samsung phone.
Downstairs Infront of the virgin media router WiFi I get over 250mbps.
Why can’t the hap AC 2 do a decent wireless speed? Is my device faulty?
This is not a complicated setup
I have tried clear full router and put it in wisp/bridge mode.
It’s WiFi is tooooo slow and it shouldn’t be!
