I have two crossroads and I have them setup in my lab(My room). I have one as AP-Bridge and the other as StationWDS.
I Put a static ip address on both and make them connect.
Now, I was testing the throughput using the MT BW Server and the Bandwith Test. I left everything as default and made the test. One crossroad y about 15ft from the other. The results did not impress me!! I got only 14M on receiving amd sending less, and on both I only got 8megs to 9megs..
Now I read a lot about MT having through puts up to 108megs ect. I am using the G-Turbo on both router crossroads and dont know why I dont get results like the one I see announced around here…??
Can someone explain to me? I do an apartment complex and I was going to get some fiber conection to have 45megs so the intenet would not get slow, but if my MT network can only handle 10 megs why get 45megs?
I could be wrong since I dont understand how this BW test works…
