Hello Everyone,
I’m new using The Dude as a network monitor, and as my nickname says i’m just clueless, i need help setting up the email notification, i have my smtp server, is called smtp..com and the email i need to send notifications to, i dont know if i need to change more settings, the error that The Dude gives when i run a test is: " Invalid TO Address ", please i’ll really appreaciate your help.

I do have the invalid body problem. then I changed my program to QK SMTP server (you can find it easily on the web) and my problem dissappeared. It might be something to do with the SMTP server …

That’s probably the problem the thing is that i cant change the SMTP server 'cause the company im working with uses it for sending mails, so i have to stick to this smtp server, i tried to send syslogs to a syslog server and it worked than the syslog server sended the mail notification and it worked too, unfortunately i cant use a mail with out authentication and i think that The Dude cant aunthenticate mails, and thats probably my problem, any suggestions?

No sorry, i thing that i have same problem.
It is possible to don’t use mail server?
Just a email @ for dude server config.
Creat a new notification by email with same email @ or/and other email @.
And activation on the map or device we wants that it is active?
