We have a new system at our office that the vendor needs a rule created
“WAN IP” Port 8088 to “External IP”
I have access to the Mikrotik with limited knowledge on what to do. Can someone help me with a script to add this rule and explain what I need to do next? Or point me at a Wiki maybe?

You have an office work environment and have a MT router connecting the office to the internet?
You have no IT networking staff?
You do not have any contract with a support IT agency?
You think that you will simply be able to muck about in the ROS config and implement more rules with no experience?

It wont be hard to give you directions to insert the proper rule in the right location but its important that we do not conflict with other rules already there for example.
Often there is interaction between the different settings and rules and one has to be a tad cautious.
