Hi,
I have two mAP Lite devices and I want to setup a simple point to point configuration with the most reliable link.
I have a device at one end that is connected to a mAPLite via Ethernet, it has a fixed IP address. I then have my computer which also can have a fixed IP address connected via Ethernet to the second mAPLite device. So what I want to do is configure the two devices to connect to each other simply replace the Ethernet cable.
Looking at some of the manuals I see there are microtik protocols that may be configured for a more robust better link, but am a little lost on how to configure each device without dhcp etc.
Just a bit of background, I did have a single mAPLite device configured as a bridged access point to my remote device, and was using my laptop WiFi top connect to the mAPLite via the AP which will work, but I’m in a very noisy environment and was often dropping the connection, so hence I thought a PTP connection using two mAPLite device may be better?
Thanks for any help in advance.
