Set up the PPTP client connecting to a servis provider. I can ping the internet normally from the router. I can ping the ip of the PPTP that gets created on the router by the PPTP, however I can t ping the ip 10.10.0.1 that gets created as default route by the PPTP and in the PPTP ip this is also the network. Think it has to do with the route. I have tried two ways to keep the PPTP running when my default rout does not work any more, which happens when the PPTP creates its default route. First i made the distance of the original route 3, which kept the PPTP running. Still could not ping 10.10.0.1. Also removed the original route and routed the PPTP server ip, over the ip of the original route. This also kept the PPTP running, but still cant ping the PPTP default route of 10.10.0.1. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated?
Perhaps if any body got the same problem. PPTP client use default-encryption as profile. When i switched profile to default every thing started running. New it was something small, took me three weeks though
