Help with RB493AH

Guys,

I need help in configuring my RB493AH,

I need to change the IP of my RB493AH to 10.10.10.254 netmask 255.255.254.0 &
i need to enable NAT but no DHCP enable & i want to act eth0 as WAN port.


Please help configure may RB493AH

I think default configuration on RB750g should do the trick, change the ip adress, ether1 i set to wan interface, switching on the rest. Nat enabled, the only thing you need to fix is the ip adress and disable dhcp. I don’t have that unit with me now, but i could download the config tomorrow.

Or, you could login to the web interface and select most of it from there.

Thanks ojsa and can i have the default config of RB750G? also it is possible to create user group in RB493AH called “Postpaid” & “Prepaid”, Postpaid will have a monthly fee while Prepaid use prepaid card to browse the internet.

Guys,

could someone help me configure my RB493AH, I’m new to this router




I want to change the IP address of my RB493Ah to 10.10.10.254 & netmask 255.255.254.0 and use eth1 as WAN and enable NAT but disable DHCP. please help me configure my router base on the picture above.

and last, i should be able to access RB493AH from my Main tower. My dsl modem is auto-connect to my ISP, could someone help me about this config.

even 10.10.10.254 is not pingable from internal network.

Thanks, i can’t send private message here.

I just need to enable NAT on ether2 to ether9 because ether1 will act as WAN port and i should be able to ping all that IP.

DSL Modem (dnynamic IP)
ether1: 10.10.10.254 (Gateway)


Private LAN IP:

ether2: 10.10.10.1
ether3: 10.10.10.2
ether4: 10.10.10.3
ether5: 10.10.10.4
ether6: 10.10.10.5
ether7: 10.10.10.6
ether8: 10.10.10.7
ether9: 10.10.10.8
