Thanks alot..i will do that.

Excuse me but just wanted to know if it’s permited to put personal ad here in the forums as gmsmstr did.
This forum is the help not to make bussiness

Agreed. I’ve made that point many times, call him out, he disappears for a while and then resurfaces with the same crap.

gmsmstr: keep your spam posts to yourself. They aren’t welcome here.

andresitotubia,

Just read , I have just written to post the scnario, I have NOT ASKD FOR MONEY. IT WAS FOR FREE OF COST…AND you are NOT the right person to decide “This forum is the help not to make bussiness”

I think there are two sides to consultants offering paid help.

  1. If something is difficult and time consuming, then any person (including consultants) could suggest that the person needing help might look at the consultants list and possibly pick himself.

  2. Forum users should not promote themselves for paid services in an aggressive way.

ashish the remarks were not directed at you.

Almost every post that gmsmstr makes is promoting himself. He was the one we directed those comments to.

I was not trying to offend anyone. One of the reasons I do this is cause many people do not know that there are willing and capable consultants to help them with their troubles. If you have an issue with Cisco, you can call cisco, and get someone within a hour 24x7x365. Most people can e-mail mikrotik support, but if there network is down, most people can’t just call someone.

I offered my services, as well as post many helpful messages to many people. From what he describes, it could be a good amount of time to figure out what he is doing, what he already had done and what needs to be changed or corrected to get everything working. Not to mention that there is always alternatives to the method he has choose. I never told him how much, I just said if he wanted to get some help, most of the time within a hour or two, he could look me up. Just another option.

Again, not trying to offend anyone, but I do make a living supporting, installing, and creating Mikrotik based networks. If another person offers to help, then take that option. I’m just another option out there.
