I suddenly get a XZ-compressed data is corrupt on one of my VMs in hetzner on which I was connected a few minutes ago.
I have a 7 days backup and I have already tried to restore 1 and 2 days old backup and I still get the same error.
Any ideas?

I had the same issue just today.
I am running CHR with DUDE Server on a VMWARE environment.
It has worked fine since the last 4/5 years… now after a warm reboot it says XZ-compressed data is corrupt and system is halted at boot.
I tried to restore different backup from the last 3/4 days but it’s the same.
At the end I have resotored a backup from august 12 (before upgrating to 7.15.3 and it starts.
Now i am trying to reboot the original VM because we use DUDE to monitor and configure all infrastructure and all customers we manage.
So even if the working backup it’s only 10 days ago, much things have been added in these days and I nedd the original machine to start again.
Did you find a solution to this?
