hex 2gbps routing

Open source community achieved 2gbps routing speed on many routers with mt7621. Is there any plans for doing this on mt7621 based mikrotik routers (hex for example)? https://forum.openwrt.org/t/2-gbps-wan-lan-nat-routing-on-ramips-mt7621-devices/131478

I assume you mean 1gbps full duplex, this is lumped together as a total throughput for up and down, looking at the block diagram there are two gigabit full duplex connections to the CPU, not four or more?! With a firewall of around 60 rules and fasttrack running I get around 1200-1300mb/ps total due to cpu limit which is 100% loaded.

L3HW offload is not implemented for MT7621-based devices in ROS. MT is now focusing on their top-level gear (CRS3xx and some CCR2xxx), so it’s unlikely to see it on the low-level gear any time soon. But then MT does surprise us from time to time, so I won’t say this will never happen.
