As announced on MikroTik page, the hEX lite had to be with an “unprecedented 850MHz CPU”.
Well, I have one, and its MIPS 24Kc V7.4 CPU is “only” 650 MHz.
What is going on here?
Could You please send me the SN# of this device ?
Sorry, but this must be some kind of mistake, You can fix this, by updating your RouterOS to the latest version:
http://www.mikrotik.com/download
After rOS update, upgrade your BIOS to the latest possible version with command:
/system routerboard upgrade
You can change your CPU frequency with command:
/system routerboard settings set cpu-frequency=850MHz
After reboot, your router should work with 850Mhz frequency
Hello Allext,
I see that it only has 16 MB flash and there is only 5.2 MB free. Have you done anything to the router? See there is only 38 sector writes, I don’t think you have.
Have you try to upgrade the router? I don’t think there is a main package that is smaller than 5.2 MB.
Thanks,
